Today I have a quick Easter card/project for you. I made these for a customer order, and I forgot to take nice pictures before I mailed them! Darn! But, I figured you all would still enjoy them.  Don’t forget to comment for a chance to win the Giveaway and continue on the hop for even more chances to win! As always, there is a complete supply list at the bottom of this post. Sooo, here he is!  TA-DA! Super cute right?!?

Stampin Up, easter, treats, jelly belly, treat cups, punch art

I thought using jelly belly’s for the bunny’s belly was just SOOO cute. Of course, i bought a 5 lb bag from Sam’s Club to make the 30 treats for my customer order….I think I may have used 3 or 4 ounces of jelly beans for the actual treats…that leaves me with 4 lbs and 12 ounce left for myself. I may have a problem. 😉 Want to see the surprise?!?Stampin Up, easter, treats, jelly belly, treat cups, punch art

Isn’t that awesome?!? His belly lifts up so you can eat the treats and I stamped Happy Easter on the inside. I think my customer don’t really plan to write a personal message on each one, but there’s a bit of space if she wishes to. I’ve made these treats before and I used a window sheet to close the cups, but I noticed that my friends had a REALLY hard time getting the jelly belly’s out without destroying the bunny. That may not matter to some people, but quite a few of the people I gave these too refused to eat the jelly belly’s because they thought the bunny was too cute. So, this time, I used press ‘n seal wrap to seal the jelly belly’s inside  so that the recipient could easily eat the treat!

I used a combination of punches and circle and oval framelits to make this bunny. A complete supply list is at the bottom of this post. I used some left over treat cups from a previous Stampin’ Up! purchase, for the first batch, but I used 2 ounce bpa-free cups for the second batch of treats. They fit perfectly and actually have more room for treats! Make sure you use the thick whisper white cardstock to make the bunnies with these though!

these are so cute and I love that they are made from circles and ovals plus the jello-shot containers (or solo 2 oz condiment cups probably would work too) … love ’em. Thanks for a cahce to win the give-away too! 😀

  3. This take on a shaker card using jelly beans is so cute and loved how you made the top of the container to lift and added a message. Thanks for sharing

  4. Your bunny with the “jelly belly” jelly beans is so adorable. I might fall into that group who would not want to take apart the card but jelly bellies are so yummy … hmmm …

anyhow, not entering the giveaway again as this is a second run-through the blog hop to see if my new “Blog Commenting ID” works out or not …
