Welcome to the OSAT Designer’s Choice Blog Hop! Thanks for checking me out, and please continue on with the hop by clicking Next at the bottom of this post! My first cards utilizes the fun and flirty Garden In Bloom set. I think the vellum helps soften the entire card, don’t ya think?!?

Here’s my Fall Layout. I like to keep my layouts pretty clean and simple. The leaves on this layout were fun. I sponged a scrap piece of card stock with Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Canjun Craze and Blackberry Bliss before using the new vintage leaves thinlits to cut out the leaves.

FallLayoutOSATLeavesI really love the way the leaves turned out. I know lots of people prefer a lot more going on in their layouts, but I felt like the leaves were so pretty that they could stand on their own.

  1. Very pretty, love the vellum over the card top to give it that softer look. The page layouts are great too, the leaves look beautiful.

  2. I love your card! What bright, happy colors made even more beautiful with the addition of vellum. Your leaves are fantastic, and I agree, they are so pretty that they can stand on their own.

  3. The vellum does soften it. I love that look but never remember to use it! The layout reminds me of windows on a school bus…must be from putting 3 of my own on one this morning…

  4. Great use of vellum on the card and of course I love the simplicity of your scrapbook layout. Perfect for some fall pics. I will share this with one of my customers who has such a hard time scrapbooking. I’ll tell her this is a great one to case for sure.
