So lets jump right in! Today’s card and project use some of my favorite stamps and dies.Stampin Up, Birthday Blooms, Stained GlassI  used the stained glass technique. I heat embossed the flower and sentiment using silver embossing powder on vellum. I then flipped the image upside down and colored the image on the back. Be careful though because the ink stays wet for awhile, so it’s easy to smear it!Stampin Up, Birthday Blooms, Stained Glass

You can see in this close up that I layered the vellum on white, then a black layer, a silver layer, another white layer, and then a large crumb cake layer. I love how all the layers look together, but it’s hard to catch the shine from the silver in the pictures. Although this card is pretty simplistic, I think all the layers and the stained glass vellum really pack a big punch up close.

Now, let’s move on to my super cute fun box. My friend Brenda taught me how to make this style. I did modify her measurements just a tad so the flaps touch in the center.

It’s hard to tell in this picture, but I used my clear wink of stella glitter brush pen on all of the flowers and leaves to make them really pop! I just love this Birthday Bouquet designer series paper. It retires on May 31st, so make sure you get it while you still can! Here’s what the box looks like open.Stampin Up, 3D, box, Thinking of You, Sassy Salutations, Botanical Builders, Birthday Bouquet
